Community Involvement
The Freedom Family is 600 employees strong and many of us have families of our own. We understand the responsibility of community involvement and strive to make a positive impact on each and every one of our customers as well as the communities where we work and live.
Since our early days we have supported organizations that we believe have a direct impact in our communities. We do this in equal parts through volunteering employee time and donating company dollars. To name a few, we’ve supported great causes such as Second Harvest (food drives for the needy), Samaritan Home (adopt-a-family), Family Giving Tree (gifts for children of under-privileged families), Best Buddies (one-on-one mentorship for kids with intellectual disabilities), Child Advocates (mentoring for at risk foster children), St Mary’s Food Bank, sponsorship of local youth sports team (Sacramento Jr. Cougars & San Mateo Little League). Habitat for Humanity (Spring 2009 builds).
